Accountant Nagender (Nagesh Kukunoor) allegedly pushed his wife on the road who then got run over by a car. Petty thief Ishaan (Naseeruddin Shah) accidentally shot a pregnant woman during a bank robbery. Lawyer Jagdish (Jackie Shroff) took the life of his cheating wife. Out of the three, only Jagdishs crime was premeditated. Nagender denies committing the crime, while Ishaan plots to escape the prison.
